I like the term ‘climate change’ rather than ‘global warming’. After the cold April (and Winter!) we’ve had all over the U.S., the naysayers remark that the globe is getting colder, not warmer. But you can’t argue too much with the changes in climate. This past April was one of the coldest on record in Savannah GA. But it did not stop the pansies and the snapdragons from blooming. 
And the herbs started indoors in the deep chill of February can now go outside for the sunshine. Here is the crazy overlap of bloom time…. the hibiscus just popped too! 
My garden journal was once a place to go to assure myself that things were proceeding as they should. Now it just looks crazy! Except for the gaura, thankfully the whirling butterflies are behaving just as they should.

Climate change works for me! We had unseasonable rain today, rare for May in Southern California. The high was 63 degrees. Still, it didn’t stop me from visiting the nursery to pick up a few things. Spring fever has hit me.

Spring is certainly pretty in your part of the world! Up here on Vancouver Island we are seeing many signs of Climate Change. Our winters are longer and colder and our summers are terribly dry and hotter each year. On May 1st we were already on watering restriction. People think that it is always wet and foggy here in the Pacific Northwest, but summers are more like Provence.
