Even the water in the fountains turns green, most gleefully! Dear husband wanted to visit this square as we had not ventured to this one on earlier visits. SO glad he pushes me always to walk a little further and explore more! The signage was discreet yet informative.
As a member of a national garden organization, the Garden Club of America, I am aware of what other women are doing in their “neighborhood” through their local Garden Club; I was impressed to see that a GCA Club, Trustees’ Garden Club, had a hand in this special space in the middle of a beautiful city. The historical area of Savannah is perfect for wandering and looking if you love architecture, and for garden lovers, there are treats to be found in little nooks and fun to peak down alleys and around corners.
Our stay on Skidaway Island, a short way from Savannah, was lovely too with suburban appeal and a quiet relaxed feel.

And he’s green ! Top o the morning, and Happy Saint Patty to you!
